Your Message

DearLegislator,

As your constituent, I am writing to urge you to cosponsor the Battlefield Excellence through Superior Training (BEST) Practices Act, H.R. 1243/S. 498, and do all you can to get it enacted.

This legislation would require the U.S. military to use only human-based training methods, such as sophisticated mannequins, to prepare members of the Armed Forces to respond to combat trauma injuries.

Destroying the lives of animals for military training is not only cruel, but also an inadequate use of time and resources compared to the advanced capabilities that life-like simulators offer.

Sincerely,
